Air conditioner cover provides a protective blanket for your air conditioner. Usually made of

However, do you really need to cover your outdoor unit in the wintertime with the air

Carrier units are designed to withstand the elements i.e. snow, wind, rain, sun,
extreme heat/cold. You should take care to protect the unit from damaging items such as ice that
